The admission ticket allows you to freely visit both buildings: the house and the permanent exhibition.
It is recommended to allow at least two and a half hours to see the entire site. To fully enjoy the permanent exhibition, the Maison d’Izieu offers an annual Pass that means you can come back as many times as you like for 13 months.
Booklets for children aged 8 to 13 are available at the reception so that they can discover the memorial at their own pace. With games, questions and things to think about, the young visitors can go round the exhibition and the house by following in the Halaunbrenner family’s footsteps, whose granddaughters, Mina and Claudine, were arrested at the Izieu children’s camp. Their parents/guardians are invited to help them complete this booklet, either during or after the tour. From the age of 14, a booklet dedicated to the K. Barbie trial is provided as part of the tour.
Ticket sales stop 30 minutes before the memorial closes.
Recommended time to complete the tour: 2hrs 30mins
