Are you passionate about the remembrance of the children and carers of the Izieu home and the values the memorial represents? Join us!
You can be in charge of various different activities:
- Distributing posters and leaflets in the surrounding area
- Welcoming the public at commemorations and cultural events (talking with the public, distributing programmes, organising parking)
- Serving meals at events
- Transport for VIPs invited to Izieu from Tour du Pin, Culoz or Lyon station or Lyon Saint-Exupéry airport)
Depending on your skills, you can also offer specific support and advice in the communications, legal, IT or financial sector or any other field you may be specialised in.
Why become a volunteer?
Becoming a volunteer at the Maison d’Izieu allows you to acquire experience and new skills, to meet new people and to get involved with a place of remembrance, a place of life and a place of education that conveys important messages and that carries out meaningful work.
Activities can take place at the Maison d’Izieu events and regularly throughout the year.
How do I become a volunteer at the Maison d’Izieu?
To become a volunteer, you need to be a member of the association. To do this, complete the online application form and say you want to become a volunteer.
The Maison d’Izieu has chosen the online platform Hello Asso to enable you to securely subscribe, contribute and/or make a donation online. It is therefore possible to choose to make a contribution to the running of Hello Asso.
