Receiving the public
The site is only partially accessible to visitors with reduced mobility.
In the Barn, an elevator makes it possible to access the first floor.
In the House, only the ground floor is accessible. Wide wheelchairs may have problems getting through certain narrow hallways. A document presenting the rooms on the first floor (classrooms and dormitories) can be requested at the entry desk.
For groups, Maison d’Izieu guides can help organisers prepare a visit that is adapted to different disabilities.
Groups of hearing-impaired visitors can request to watch the video projection of the extracts from the Barbie trial with subtitles (in a room not accessible to people with reduced mobility)
